Preschool openings for winter semester!

Lil Lights Preschool currently taking applications for the winter semester. We are a cooperative preschool that focuses on kindergarden readiness for ages 3 &4.

We are located at Lawson Heights Pentecostal Assembly at 233 Pinehouse Dr. in the Lawson area. Our classes are in the morning from 9:15-11:15.

We have openings in either Mon/Wed class or the Tues/Thurs class. Our classes are $50 for the two days a week or $90 for four days a week. For more information or an application, please call 934-7100

Sister O’Brien Christmas Bake Sale Tomorrow!

Who doesn’t love freshly baked cookies? Or some squares for your Grey Cup Party (maybe something with lots of chocolate to drown your Rider sorrows)?  Then simply pop in to the Sister O’Brien Christmas Bake Sale and Craft Fair tomorrow afternoon!

1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

And if you don’t have a sweet tooth, but you would like to get a start on (or complete!) your Christmas shopping, please come out and support your community and Sister O’Brien by buying locally-made crafts.

The 10th annual Caswell Arts Festival, Art in the Park is coming up on June 12th in Ashworth Holmes Park! They are donating all proceeds from the concession to Station 20 West.

“The 10th annual Art in the Park is a celebration of culture and community where people with diverse interests from of all cultures, all ages, and all walks of life can come together in our unique neighbourhood to experience awesome art, fantastic music, and fun for all!

This is a FREE one day festival that is entirely volunteer-run and community-based. It features a variety of art and entertainment, highlighting local talent in the heart of the Caswell Hill neighbourhood. Visit our Artists’ Village for a listing of attending artists and their art mediums. Visit our Music to view our entertainer’s bios.”
