"An autopsy on the remains of a male found near the river earlier this week was performed earlier today. The Office of the Chief Coroner has, based on the scene, and pending toxicology and microscopic examinations, determined the cause of death was most likely hypothermia. There is no evidence to date to suggest foul play was involved in the death.
The deceased male has been positively identified by the Saskatoon Police Service as a 36 year old Saskatoon man. His family has been notified and has requested that his name not be released publicly.
The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Unit has also determined that the 36 year old man was not a subject of a missing person investigation."
