“YAS” stands for “Young Athlete Saskatchewan Inc.,” a registered non-profit organization headed by licensed educators and health-care professionals who are highly accomplished at teaching basketball skills to youth.

“CIF” in the brochure stands for the “Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund” which provides funding to the YAS Bursary Assistance program to help youths/families that cannot afford all of the YAS tuition fees.
