YAS has a Summer Camp for Every Level of Athletic Ability

Some Features of a Young Athlete Saskatchewan (YAS) Summer Basketball Camp are :

-         28 - 35 hours of skills development and fun in an air conditioned-gym

-         Choices of narrow age groups:  8 & 9,  10 & 11,  12 & 13,  14 & 15
   (the parent / guardian of a youth age 7 who is almost 8 or anyone who
    has just turned age 16 may request permission to join: before registering)

-         Individualized and team skills instruction during mornings

-         A new equal-play skills-reinforcement tournament each afternoon

-         Use of top-of-the-line Wilson leather basketballs in 3 size choices

-         A numbered camp jersey to keep upon registration

-         A coveted “Young Athlete Saskatchewan” graduation medallion

-         Courtesy early drop off starting at 7:45 am

-         Courtesy in-the-gym supervision during lunch break

-         Optional extended supervision (pre-booked) for youths in younger
         age groups starting at 3:00 pm dismissal at a nominal cost

-         Plentiful FREE parking for parents’ vehicles right next to YAS gyms

-         Bursary assistance co-funded by the Saskatchewan Government’s
         Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) to help cover camp fees

-         Special “Volunteer Appreciation” discounts for those from homes
         that volunteer their services to Community Associations and
        similar nonprofit organizations that improve our communities

-         An invitation to every YAS camp graduate to register to be placed on a
         balanced team for the 24th Annual North-South Ironman Tournament
         August 21 & 22 with other YAS camps graduates

-         Quick and easy registration process

BONUS:   Pro-bono professional assistance for YAS camps graduates of 2015
and past summers to find out about and acquire scholarships at degree-granting
Colleges and Universities located across Canada and the USA, and where Canadian
student-athletes of every level of athletic ability are highly sought after.
