In Loving Memory of Keith Briant - Dedication Bench Fundraising
The following is a message to the Silverwood Heights Community (and beyond) from Lori Bell and Betty Hegedus:
In honour of our dear friend and colleague Keith Briant, we are placing a dedication bench in WJL Harvey Park North in Saskatoon. Lori Bell has been contacting the City of Saskatoon and we have approval. A picture of what the bench could look can be seen here:
The bench will cost anywhere from $2000 to $3000. Keith was an amazing Police Officer, a dedicated volunteer who put in countless hours in the Silverwood Neighborhood and the City of Saskatoon. I can’t even begin to think how many hours and steps he put in the WJL Harvey Park while working as a Police officer and volunteering for the Citizen Patrol program. In addition, Keith played a huge part in getting our spray park started and finished for many to enjoy.
We are asking for donations and a dedication bench account has been set up at CIBC at the 320 Circle Drive East Location in Saskatoon.
You can make a donation by either sending:
- An e transfer to betslynn@outlook.com (it has been set up with the CIBC account)
- Contacting Lori or Betty for a customer account information form or the account information
- Physically going to the 320 Circle Drive East location
If you would like to donate please feel free to do so. It would be greatly appreciated and I know Keith would be smiling from ear to ear and saying “Hey buddies”.
PLEASE NOTE:
Once we have the money raised, we will coordinate with the City an exact date and time of when the bench will be installed in WJL Harvey Park North. During this time, if you would like to attend you are most welcome. Please let Lori or I know if you are wanting to attend so we can send you an email with the details. We will make the event/day a beautiful memorial for Keith. More information to follow.
